Service Menus

  • Drain oil and remove old oil filter
  • Replace filter and oil drain seal with genuine Subaru parts
  • Refill engine with Cam2 semi-synthetic oil*
  • Check windshield washer, power steering fluid, transmission fluid, front differential fluid and brake fluid levels.  Adjust as necessary
  • Inspect tires, undercarriage and suspension components for wear or damage. 
  • Set tire pressures to proper setting
  • Check operating condition of all lights
  • Lubricate door, trunk and hood hinges

  • Drain oil and remove old oil filter

  • Set tire pressures to proper setting
  • Check operating condition of all lights
  • Lubricate door, trunk and hood hinges
  • Inspect condition and tightness of accessory drive belts
  • Replace fuel filter (pre 2004 cars only)
  • Add BG Fuel Treatment to fuel tank
  • Inspect air filter, replace if required (extra charge for part)
  • Optional: Replace cabin air filter.  See service maintenance notes

  • Check windshield washer, power steering fluid, transmission fluid, front differential fluid and     brake fluid levels.  Adjust as necessary
  • Check fluid level in rear differential
  • Check antifreeze inspection level

  • Inspect engine oil system for leaks or damage
  • Rotate Tires

  • Replace camshaft timing belt and front crankshaft seal.  Not applicable to 6 cylinder engines or 2011 Foresters.  2.2l & early 2.5l engines timing belt replacement at 60,000 mile intervals.
  • Inspect condition of water pump, camshaft belt tensioner and timing belt idler pulleys.
3,750 Mile Interval Service: or 3 months from previous service.

this service interval (11,250, 18,750 miles etc.) is optional on late model Subarus but highly recommended.  See oil change notes  for more details.


7,500 mile interval service or 3 months from previous service dependent on individual maintenance schedule.
