Subaru Service Maintenance Guide for 2015's and later

6,000 Mile Service or 6 months, whichever comes first
Mileage Intervals: 6,000 / 12,000 / 24,000 / 42,000 / 66,000 / 78,000 / 84,000 / 96,000 / 102,000 / 114,000 / 138,000

  • Rotate and Balance Tires
  • Install fuel conditioner
  • Replace engine oil
  • Replace Genuine Subaru oil filter
  • Replace oil drain plug gasket
  • Check and adjust tire pressures
  • Check and adjust coolant level
  • Check and adjust power steering fluid
  • Check and adjust clutch hydraulic fluid (some models)
  • Check operation of exterior lights
  • Inspect suspension and steering components
  • Inspect wiper/washer systems and fluid
  • Lubricate chassis
  • Lubricate door hinges
  • Inspect belts and hoses
  • Inspect tires for uneven wear and damage

  • Replace Genuine Subaru air filter
  • Inspect and service battery terminals
  • Lubricate brake cables and linkage
  • Rotate and balance tires
  • Install fuel conditioner
  • Replace engine oil
  • Replace Genuine Subaru oil filter
  • Replace oil drain plug gasket
  • Check and adjust tire pressures
  • Check and adjust coolant level
  • Check and adjust power steering fluid
  • Check and adjust clutch hydraulic fluid (some models)
  • Check operation of exterior lights
  • Inspect suspension and steering components
  • Inspect wiper/washer systems and fluid
  • Lubricate chassis

Mileage Intervals:  30,000 / 60,000 / 90,000 / 120,000 / 150,000

  • Drain and replace transmission fluid (some models)
  • Service front (some models) and rear differentials
  • Flush brake system and replace fluid
  • Inspect driveshaft's, differentials, and boots
  • Replace PCV valve
  • Replace spark plugs (some models)
  • Replace Genuine Subaru Coolant (only at 90,000 miles)
  • Rotate and balance tires
  • Install fuel conditioner
  • Replace engine oil
  • Replace Genuine Subaru oil filter
  • Replace oil drain plug gasket
  • Check and adjust tire pressures
  • Check and adjust coolant level
  • Check and adjust power steering fluid
  • Check and adjust clutch hydraulic fluid (some models)
  • Check operation of exterior lights
  • Inspect suspension and steering components
  • Inspect wiper/washer systems and fluid
  • Lubricate chassis

  • Replace spark plugs (only at 60,000 and 120,000)
  • RECOMMENDED:  fuel injection service
 

Important Notes

  • This service menu is valid for 2015 and later Subaru's.  Call for specifics on your car.  
  • All 2015 models require synthetic oil.
  • Not all services are applicable to every model/model year and in some cases prices may vary by model or equipment.
  • Replace timing belt at 96,000 miles/96 months WRX and STi only.
