Position Requirements:

Having a working knowledge of automotive parts, computers, automotive systems, and diagnostic ability to potentially include: internal engine, suspension, brakes, electronics, exhaust, etc.

What is Necessary to become our Parts Manager?

  • Having 2 or more years of experience managing a small team of workers in a fast-paced and highly dynamic retail environment.
  • Having computer skills in the retail and wholesale parts field.
  • Having 3 or more years of prior automotive parts experience.
  • Demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
  • Having Successful experience managing inventory overhead and profitability; proven financial and business acumen.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Having a High School diploma or general education degree (GED)or Home School equivalency.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States of America.
  • Being able to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
  • Having 3 or more years of driving experience with a clean driving record and valid drivers license.
  • Knowledge of Subaru is a plus
  • Knowledge of CDK global systems is a plus.

 Secor Automotive Group in New London CT is seeking for Full & Part-time Porters. We are a growing Automotive Group that is looking for qualified candidates.   

Our Subaru Service Location is seeking 2 Full-time Porters. Hours 7:30 am -5:30 pm Monday - Friday, alternating Saturdays. You will be responsible for maintaining the internal and external appearance and cleanliness of the Service Center.  Provides transportation for service customers. Must be alert to traffic flow in the service lot. Park customers cars in the assigned parking spots for technicians to find in a timely manner. Was and vacuum customers vehicles.  Secor Auto Group is seeking an Experienced Business Development Representative (BDC) / Appointment Setter in New London area to handle incoming calls, make outgoing calls and set sale appointments. This position will interact with customers seeking to purchase a New or Used Vehicle. Responsibility of this position is to maintaining positive, ongoing communications for the purpose of increasing sales appointments and customer satisfaction. 

Direct customer phone communication a must
Ability to work a flexible schedule 
Successful telephone communication skills
Outstanding written communication
Microsoft Office and Excel is required
Ability to perform multiple tasks
Outgoing personality and motivation is a must!
