Most enjoyable car I have owned, I’m 81.

        by Sliderule43 on 8/5/2026 9:40:28 PM

Purchased mid April and has 1500 miles. Top trim. Outback Touring XT. I’m continually amazed at how perfect this car is. Great value for the price. I use HANDS FREE often. Great feature. City mpg. 21. Expect it to improve. Interstate. 28 mpg. Most of my driving is 3.5 miles each way. Many lights. A real mpg killer. I traded in my 2024 Highlander Limited gas turbo model in with only 8,000 miles. The overall technology blows away the Highlander. I’m an active 81 and this is my first Subaru. I’ve become disappointed in Toyota products, in close to four months I can’t see a single thing I would change,…

        Love this 2026 Outback

        by carol j on 6/27/2026 4:57:17 AM

I bought a 2026 Outback Touring non turbo in Dec. 2025 and have driven 4400 miles. I did not want the turbo and Im happy with the 180 hp engine. I dont tow and this engine, while maybe it sounds underpowered, I think its perfect. I am surpassing the mpg ratings. Last week I drove from Spokane to Seattle and averaged 40 mpg w 95% highway driving. Combination driving I get 27 mpg. The car is very comfortable w 12 way driver seat inc 4 way lumbar and a leg extender. You will be comfortable in this car. I LOVE the hands free driving feature. Its the cat's meow!! The interior is very logically laid out and easy to learn. The Harman Kardon sound system is really nice. I find this car is like an old friend... inviting and easy to get along with. I researched cars for over a year and I think I made the best choice.…

by Brad on 6/21/2026 4:37:07 PM

I like the new look and the infotainment screen is better then the previous generation I like the fact it has the old school shifter and not one of those goofy electronic shifters the ride is smooth and stable gas mileage is great it has lots of cargo area and a spare tire not one of those stupid repair kits and the price was affordable…
