How is Subaru's Suspension Different

All Subaru vehicles with 4, 5, and 6-speed transmissions sit securely on top of a 4-wheel independent suspension system, which helps keep those rough roads smooth.  Subaru's 4-wheel independent suspension not only allows a more comfortable riding experience, but offers more responsiveness and handling for sharp cornering in an urban setting.  Feel at touch with road at all times and relax easy with a smooth ride.

Subaru's double wishbone rear suspension helps reduce impact on rough road surfaces.  The double wishbone rear suspension is fine-tuned, which allows sharper control with tight corners while giving you the comfort you need.

Reach Higher Ground with Subaru's Suspension

The road is easily managed with Subaru's 4-wheel independent suspension and double wishbone rear suspension, but wouldn't be complete without some extra clearance.  When the road you travel begins to have more uneven surfaces, the Forester and Outback offer a higher raised suspension, which has 8.9 inches of ground clearance.  So wherever the road brings, you can ride with confidence higher off the ground.
